If
you're coming from the United States, American Airlines offers a
non-stop service from Miami and New York City. US Airways offers
seasonal weekend service from Charlotte and Philadelphia.

Delta
Air Lines offers daily non-stop service from Atlanta.

American Eagle offers its service on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Thursdays and two flights per day from San Juan Puerto Rico on Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays. This schedule is in place through May 2009. |

During
the peak season, between mid-November and mid-March, a number of tour
companies operate charters from London, Toronto, Milan and various
Caribbean destinations. |

Air
Canada offers limited service during the winter. A new flight from
Montreal to St Lucia was introduced as of December 19th on Mondays and
will operate until April 9 2009. WestJet also flies from Toronto, Canada
to St.Lucia on Sundays. All three flights will be in place until the
first week of May 2009. |

St.
Lucia is serviced by two major airlines from the UK. British Airways
offers nonstop service between Gatwick and St Lucia and also between
Trinidad and St Lucia three times per week on Sundays, Tuesdays and
Thursdays. |

Virgin
Atlantic flies four times a week out of Gatwick on Sundays, Tuesdays
Thursdays and Fridays. |

LIAT
offers an extensive service for regional travel and connections to
international destinations.

Airports
There are 2 airports on the island: Hewanorra International Airport at Vieux Fort is located 40 miles south of Castries. George Charles Inter Island Airport
(pictured below) is just outside Castries.

Airport departure tax
There is a Departure Tax of EC $68 or US$ 26 for all passengers over 12 years old leaving the Island.

Airport Transfers
Taxis are readily available from the Hewanorra airport to Castries and the north of the island and should cost in the region of (EC $120 up to 4 persons). Public transport is another option, however you must walk your luggage to the main road. The trip to Castries will cost approximately $8.00 EC, but it will take twice as long to get there than by taxi.
By Sea
By sea, there is a hydrofoil service between Martinique and St. Lucia.
Cruise ships tie up daily at Port Castries and Soufriére. All major lines call in and
represented in St. Lucia.
For visitors arriving by private or chartered yacht, moorings are available at the fully serviced Rodney Bay Marina, a picturesque lagoon on the northern tip of St. Lucia or at Castries Yacht
Center, located at the entrance of Castries Harbor.
