Old Town Square, with its façades masterly lit up, is particularly charming and romantic at night, with alternating shadows and lights of great effect. If you add up a dinner in one of the wonderful restaurants which are in the square you’ll end up with an unforgettable evening. Old Town Square was completely demolished by the Nazis during WWII. Sit down in one of the several pubs and order yourself a fine Polish beer, like Zywiec. Polish beer has a very high alcohol content, some beer contains as much as 8-10% alcohol per volume.
